Chimney repairs & chimney replacements

More than 1,000 chimneys on Long Island since 2000. Freestanding, brick or prefab, we repair them, and when a chimney is past repairing we rebuild or replace it.

Your chimney and your roof are two different things

When a house is built, the roof goes on first. The roofers put L-shaped flashing along every edge where the roof meets the chimney, and that flashing is what seals the two together. When it fails, water gets in.

Since we do both roofs and chimneys, we look at both sides of the leak.

Chimney caps & crowns

Is your chimney cap or crown worn? Is water getting into your furnace or your walls? We replace caps and crowns fast, often in just one day, and we check the flashing and the rest of the chimney while we're up there.

New chimneys & rebuilds

A complete rebuild replaces both the brickwork and the crown. It is needed when the damage is too great to repair.

Brick chimney repairs

Chimney repairs are an occasional but necessary part of keeping your home safe. Call before a small problem turns into a big one.

Chimney flashing

The flashing at the base of the chimney seals it to the roof. It has to be installed properly, or water gets in.

Flue liner replacements

Worried about your flue? The surest way to know whether the liner needs replacing is a thorough inspection.

Chimney inspections

Soot and debris build up over time. An inspection tells you what your chimney needs to be clean, safe and up to code.

Chase covers, prefab chimneys & new chimneys

Chimney chase repairs

Once rust takes hold on a chase cover it spreads fast. It ruins the cover, and then it damages the inside of the chimney and the chase. Call us early and we'll inspect it and repair it.

Prefab chimneys

A prefabricated chimney is made of metal, an alternative to the usual masonry chimney of mortar and brick. Prefab chimneys come in many styles, materials and designs, so yours can be made to suit your home.

All new chimneys

There are many types and styles of chimney to suit your house and your roof, and each has its own look. Give us a call and we'll go through the options with you.

What is your house crowned with?

The crown is the cement top of the chimney. It keeps water out, so it has to be kept in good condition.

“We were very pleased with the work that was done by this team. Initially I thought that I only needed a chimney cap installed, but after a careful inspection of my chimney, it was found that a crumbling and deteriorating lining of my chimney interior wall had occurred leaving a potentially dangerous situation in my house. I was actually shown the damage so I could determine for myself the extent of the problem.”
